I think this is a fantastic 2 karat aquamarine pendent. I wasn't sure what to get my girlfriend for her birthday but I saw a lot of positive reviews for this particular piece of jewelry. My girlfriend was flabbergasted when she received it. Highly recommend it to any girl who's birthstone happens to be aquamarine.

However, there are a couple of downsides to this product. The free 14k gold chain that comes with it is very fine and very thin. It looks like it would snap within a week or two. I would recommend buying a thicker, more durable chain to accompany the pendent so that it doesn't fall off. Also, the gemstone is nowhere near as bright blue as Amazon depicts it.
